Site
Surveys
We are able to set up the site survey appointment with all the home and business owners within the scope of the project in order to allow the busy office staff of the ISP to be able to maintain and conduct their day to day business as normal without interruption. After we have surveyed the property and mapped out any private utilities on our electronic form to be given to the outside plant team, we will mount the NID. The selection of the NID location during the site survey is very important for both the outside plant team to do their job easily and efficiently and for us when it is time to come back and complete the conversion. Our techs possess the skills and experience to get it right the first time to help prevent costly mistakes that can and unfortunately do happen if you do not have a tech with the proper training and experience conducting the site survey. We understand that each property in the scope of your project can and will possess unique qualities and difficult challenges to get the job done right, but rest assured because of our experience, we will have the best solution at each location while keeping your property owner happy. Once the NID is mounted in the most appropriate location for that particular property, our techs will pipe the Schedule 40 PVC conduit from the NID into the premises in preparation for the conversion at a later date. If a ground wire is requested by the engineer we will run that during the site survey as well.
